POSITION TITLE: ADMINISTRATIVE COORDINATOR

The Administrative Coordinator provides customer service and administrative support to Organizational Development. The ability to multi-task, prioritize, trouble shoot technology and meet deadlines is required. The Administrative Coordinator balances multiple responsibilities and has effective critical thinking, problem solving and time management skills. The Administrative Coordinator has a professional customer service orientation to represent the corporation and liaise with the public, staff and visitors.
Qualifications / Skills / Abilities:
Required
- Successful completion of a post-secondary office administration program, and one to three years administrative/secretarial experience, preferably at a senior level
- Experience working in a health care environment is an asset
- Intermediate to advanced level computer skills including ability in Excel, Word, Power Point and Internet based applications, to be tested
- Keyboarding skills minimum 60 words per minute (to be tested)
- Ability to process and track financial transactions
- Ability to set-up and troubleshoot in-person and virtual meetings including hardware and software
- Expert level knowledge of major virtual meeting platforms
- Produce accurate, timely minutes / action summaries for circulation and historical record
- Knowledge of committee process and procedures
- General knowledge of the corporation and its six Hospital sites
- Strong desire to work collaboratively as a team player and ability to work well independently
- Excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent critical thinking and problem solving skills
- Ability to effectively maintain confidentiality
- Effectively handle multiple demands; complete assignments in an accurate and timely manner
- Ability to travel to other sites as required
- Recent satisfactory performance and attendance record
