Job Description
AECOM is seeking an Air Quality Engineer to be based out of our Calgary, AB location.
Job responsibilities include, but may not be limited to the following:
Air Pollution Control and Industrial Emissions
Knowledge of industrial processes especially in oil and gas, chemical and petrochemical, mining and processing industries
Familiarity with the air pollution control system and technologies
In depth experience in air emissions quantification
Understanding of emission standards
Air Dispersion Modelling
Basic knowledge of AERMOD and CALPUFF/CALMET Models
Basic understanding of meteorology
General
Preparation of technical documents and reports
Work with internal teams and external clients
Utilizes basic scientific principles, theories, practices and existing technologies to develop solutions for technical problems with limited scope.
Thorough knowledge of Excel spreadsheets.
Experience with permitting services and environmental assessments
Soft skills including project management, leadership, strong communications
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- B.Sc. Engineering. P. Eng. Preferred. + 6 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
