WHAT YOU’LL DO:

Role:

We are seeking a talented Quality Engineer to join our Product Quality team. We are looking for someone with expertise in mechanical products, hardware, & embedded testing. This role will report to Product Quality Manager and will be integral to achieving excellence in scalable computer cooling solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot product failures
• Write and execute test plans to find the root cause of failures
• Work with internal and external stakeholders on corrective and preventative actions
• Provide NCR and 8D documentation for the failure analysis
• Provide customers with technical updates on the failure analysis
• Design test fixtures and software solutions to expedite execution of testing
• Support sustaining activities through SW/FW testing

WHO YOU ARE:

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree or Masters in Mechatronics, Electronics Engineering Technology, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering
• A minimum of 3-5 years of quality-related work experience
• Legally authorized to work in Canada without company sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Solid experience in setting up and using DAQ’s, sensors and actuators
• Knowledge of programming tools such as LabView, Python, etc.
• Strong working knowledge of embedded systems such as programmable logic controllers (PLC), microcontrollers, Raspberry Pi, Linux, Bash, etc.
• Working knowledge of communication protocols such as RS232, RS485, Modbus, I2C, TCP/IP and UDP protocols
• Experience in using bench tools (oscilloscope, power analyzer, logic analyzer, multimer, etc.)
• Demonstrated experience in testing and qualifying electro-mechanical parts and systems
• Experience in root-causing product failures, 8D reporting, as well as developing corrective, and preventative actions recommendations

Skills:

• Excellent English skills for internal/external communication and technical writing
• Willingness to travel up 20% of the time
