SalaryNorwood Foundry is seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team in Nisku, AB. This position will be responsible for assuring that the products we manufacture are safe, meet customer requirements, and are in compliance with all applicable regulatory and safety standards.
Essential Duties:
- Assess and document product performance, including testing, mechanical and electrical specifications.
- Participate in product development meetings to discuss and review new product offerings.
- Participate in product testing meetings to review and validate the results of testing on new products.
- Participate in developing and maintaining quality assurance documentation for new products.
- Perform quality assurance tests on new products as required.
- Assist with the development of quality assurance tests for new products.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field preferred. A minimum of 2 years’ experience in Quality Assurance Engineering preferred.
- Strong knowledge of electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, and or other related engineering disciplines preferred.
- Strong knowledge of electrical safety, quality control, electrical safety, and electrical systems preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook required. Experience with Jira a plus but not required.
