We are looking for individuals that are passionate about food, hospitality and are guest focused. As a Banquet Porter/Server, you will work in a team oriented, high volume and fast-paced, environment in our Food & Beverage Department to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Banquet Porters and Servers will report to the Food & Beverage Supervisor. You will help deliver our passion for 100% guest satisfaction by:
- Serving Food and Drinks in restaurant
- Setting up Meeting and Event space for all Events and Banquets
- Ensuring all food stations and tables set up are set according to customer needs and hotel standards
- Complete tear down of rooms, which include putting equipment away and cleaning room after event
- Gathering and organizing linens and equipment for execution of events
- Serving food accurately and timely according to customers’ requests
HEALTH & SAFETY:
- Use of personal protective equipment as applicable.
- Follows WHMIS procedures.
- Reports potential problems and hazards
Qualifications / Requirements:
- Superior attention to detail
- Must be able to complete physical work including: crouching, kneeling, standing for extended period of time
- Must be able to work flexible hours including weekends
- Must be able to carry equipment and supplies up to 50 pounds
- Must have Smart Serve
