Banquet Server/ Porter

We are looking for individuals that are passionate about food, hospitality and are guest focused. As a Banquet Porter/Server, you will work in a team oriented, high volume and fast-paced, environment in our Food & Beverage Department to deliver exceptional customer experiences.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Banquet Porters and Servers will report to the Food & Beverage Supervisor. You will help deliver our passion for 100% guest satisfaction by:

• Serving Food and Drinks in restaurant
• Setting up Meeting and Event space for all Events and Banquets
• Ensuring all food stations and tables set up are set according to customer needs and hotel standards
• Complete tear down of rooms, which include putting equipment away and cleaning room after event
• Gathering and organizing linens and equipment for execution of events
• Serving food accurately and timely according to customers’ requests

HEALTH & SAFETY:

• Use of personal protective equipment as applicable.
• Follows WHMIS procedures.
• Reports potential problems and hazards

Qualifications / Requirements:

• Superior attention to detail
• Must be able to complete physical work including: crouching, kneeling, standing for extended period of time
• Must be able to work flexible hours including weekends
• Must be able to carry equipment and supplies up to 50 pounds
• Must have Smart Serve

Job Type: Part-time

Salary: From $16.55 per hour
