Job Description
Contribute toward the growth, of both salons and Milbon, through educational support for distributors and salons, while ensuring alignment of all activities with corporate principles and your department’s annual plans.Offer new values to salons by individually prescribing the most relevant/useful Milbon products for each hair stylist along with essential techniques while backed by superior knowledge of hair and products. Through educational support and contribution, to business growth of distributor(s) and salons, aim to become clients’ most trusted team of all hair care suppliers in each market.
Essential Job Functions
FIELD/VIRTUAL ACTIVITY (75%)
· ***This job is on the road covering: British Columbia, Alberta, (Must currently reside in one of these provinces)*** Occasionally travel to other provinces as needed.**
· Conduct in-salon color/signature demos (in-person/virtual), education, and salon visits upon request from salons, sales teams, and distributors.
· Conduct in-salon education for new product launches.
· Visit salons for additional support, strategic appointments, and follow-ups with reps/educators/supervisors.
· Participate and assist in planning of distribution/Milbon events.
· Provide technical support for salons, distributors, and sales consultants.
· Visit distributors and salons to introduce products and services
· Establish and maintain relationships with colorists/stylists.
· Establish and maintain relationships with distribution customer service, reps, and managers.
DISTRIBUTION SUPPORT (25%)
· Support and assist in the planning of distribution sales meetings.
· Support and assist in distribution training for new product launches.
· Support and assist in the distribution of new hires' training to improve their brand knowledge.
· Support and assist the Regional Distribution Manager in daily tasks.
ADMIN/MISCELLANEOUS (5%)
· Ensure that you understand, and act by, corporate philosophy, ISM, and strategies.
· Submit EOM reports such as activity reports, demo reports, mileage reports, and expense reports to your supervisor.
· Participate in company/team meetings.
· Provide RDM with weekly activity reports.
· Share your activities on Workplace.
· Support the supervisor’s initiative to develop business strategies for the department/company.
· Foster an efficient and comfortable working environment for the team through accompanying other teams/departments.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENT:
· Bachelor's Degree preferred but not required
· Cosmetology preferred but not required
· Previous Sales Experience, Professional Beauty Industry preferred
· Willing to travel frequently or as needed
· Interpersonal Skills, presentation skills
· Team Spirit yet independent
· Strong Work Ethics
· Microsoft Office Proficiency: Excel, Word, PowerPoint
