We're currently seeking a Business Development Representative to join our team!
In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and nurturing new business opportunities to drive growth for the company. You will qualify prospective customers, book demos, and work with Sales to close new business.
No previous experience in Business Development or Healthcare IT is required! We will teach you everything you need to know about RamSoft products. Our ideal candidate is an agile learner and a natural network builder.

The compensation for this role includes an attractive base salary, health benefits, RRSP matching, and uncapped commission earning potential.
Where will you work?
RamSoft is headquartered in downtown Toronto. This role may be performed fully on-site, or hybrid.
What will you do?
- Proactively seek new business opportunities for RamSoft
- Working with contact lists provided by our Marketing team, you will perform a high volume of outreach to prospective clients via cold calls, emails, LinkedIn
- Build relationships with prospective clients in order to generate qualified leads and schedule meetings for our Account Executive team
- Leverage your soft skills and and RamSoft product knowledge to identify client needs and present an enticing value proposition
- Use Salesforce to document and report on prospecting progress
- Achieve weekly & monthly targets
- Exceed team goals to drive success
- Report to the BDR Manager on activity and pipeline
- Research and stay up-to-date on industry trends and market conditions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve sales processes and strategies
- Show up hungry every day, and never shy away from a passionate discussion.
What will you bring to RamSoft?
- Degree or diploma, or equivalent experience, in Business, Marketing, or related field
- Tech savvy, able to pick up new systems quickly
- Familiarity with MS Office including Excel and Outlook Calendaring
- Understanding of sales performance metrics and enthusiasm for building your sales skills
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills; confident speaking to senior level staff and decision makers
- Adept at thinking on your feet, finding creative approaches to book calls
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively
- Self-discipline, High Emotional Intelligence, Velocity & Endurance
- Tenacious and Resilient, you work hard to get the Yes and bounce back quickly when things don't go your way
- Relentlessly Competitive, you push yourself to meet and exceed targets
- You thrive under pressure and are rock steady in your positive mindset
You will REALLY stand out if you have the following
- Experience using Salesforce or other CRM software
- Knowledge of SaaS industry and technology
- Knowledge of medical imaging or other healthcare IT environments
