Victoria East Medical Clinic is hiring a Casual Medical Office Assistant for a busy health care facility. Clinic hours are Monday - Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm. Seeking an individual to cover holidays and sick time. Looking for a mature individual with good interpersonal skills who is able to work both independently and as part of a team. A professional attitude is essential. Prior experience, familiarity with HIPA and knowledge of Accuro is an asset.
Tasks include patient scheduling, registration and clerical duties such as faxing/photocopying, electronic filing and telephone management, taking payments, maintain infection control protocols, taking patients to exam rooms, patient measurements etc.
Must have a current copy of a Criminal Record Check.
