Medical Office Assistant

Description

Centre Street Medical is seeking 1 or 2 experienced, qualified, highly motivated individuals to work as a Medical Office Assistant. Location of work may include Assiniboia, Willow Bunch, and/or Coronach.
Duties may include:
    answering telephone, appointment scheduling, patient reception
    receiving and sending correspondence including faxing, scanning, and maintenance of electronic filing and data entry
    billing insured and uninsured services
    maintenance, cleaning, and replenishing supplies in exam rooms
    recording vitals, serve as chaperone as required
We require an individual who demonstrates:
    superior organizational, time management and multitasking abilities
    excellent verbal and written skills
    professionalism in verbal, written, and in person communication
    knowledge of general medical terminology
    general computer knowledge and skills and proficient with Microsoft Office
    ability to work in a team setting
    ability to work with minimal supervision
    working knowledge of EMR (Accuro) preferred
    reliability and punctuality
