The Inner Wellness - is a holistic wellness clinic which provides Physiotherapist, Acupuncture, Chiropractor, Naturopathic, Massage, and Holistic Wellness services.
The clinic is looking for a full-time and a part-time Chiropractor to join our dynamic team of practitioners. We are a well-established multidisciplinary health clinic, located in the heart of Calgary, in a busy plaza, closer to many amenities, LRT and day care. The clinic offers spread out retail area, big treatment rooms, full time reception and billing system, etc.
The chosen applicant would be taking over some of the existing therapist’s clientele. We work on a split with the therapist taking a larger percentage. Our hours are Monday through Saturday 10-7pm. Laundry, hydraulic tables, sheets and other supplies are provided by the clinic with full support from the reception, scheduling, flexibility, etc. Position to start as soon as possible.
There is a new Elite chiropractic table with cervical, thoracic, and lumbar drops. There is also a massage gun and other equipment provided to the chiropractor. Should be able to do WCB as we accept WCB patients.
The Chiropractor will be working out from one location based in SE, Calgary and in about 6-8 months, will be working out of 2nd location in Calgary.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Consulting with the patient about their medical history and the reason for their visit
- Creating a plan of care that focuses on the patient’s overall health and wellbeing
- Assessing the patient’s spine, posture, and reflexes to provide the appropriate treatment
- Performing neuro musculoskeletal therapy by adjusting the patient’s spine and other joints
- Providing supplemental treatments, such as massage and acupuncture to the injured area
- Giving advice on lifestyle habits such as sleep, exercise, and diet to improve patient’s physical health
Skills and Qualifications:
- Must be licensed with the Alberta College and Association of Chiropractors (ACAC) and is in good standing with their association.
- Must have good communication skills, the ability to engage and educate clients about the benefits of chiropractic care and build long term client relationships.
- Strong skills in critical thinking, decision making and analysis.
- The ability to work collaboratively as a member of an interdisciplinary team.
- Proven ability to meet given deadlines.
- Full Registration with provincial Alberta College/Association of Chiropractor
- Must be holding Professional liability insurance.
- Acupuncture / Dry Needling (IMS) is an asset
- Have understanding of MVA and insurance will be beneficial
