community? Usborne & Hibbert (U&H) Mutual Fire Insurance Company is looking for a
Claims Manager to join our leadership team! You will lead the claims team in
collaborating with all departments to fulfill U&H’s standards of claims service excellence.
Responsibilities
Work with independent adjusting firms,
vendors, contractors, legal, and industry
experts to adjust claims
Provide high-quality decisions to property,
farm, automobile, and commercial insurance
claim settlements
Ensure claims practices conform to legal,
regulatory, consumer-first, compliance and
privacy obligations
Monitor claims activity, identifying trends and
opportunities for improvements
Manage prudent reserving practices and
opening and closing of files
Develop claims policies, procedures, and
service delivery guidelines
Completion of all claims reports and statistics
Qualifications
University/college degree or
diploma - Insurance preferred
CIP designation, or equivalent
5 years of claims experience with
supervisory experience
