Summary
We are seeking a motivated individual to join our team as a Client Service Coordinator / Administrative Assistant at our head office in Whitby. Must be able to work Days / Evenings & Weekends and participate in the on-call program. Critical thinking, excellent communication skills and able to multitask will be required for this position, as well as a positive nature and willingness to learn new tasks to enable growth within the company.

Responsibilities:
- In collaboration with the patient/family/caregiver and registered staff, coordinate service delivery ensuring proper skill set, availability, language, and geographical areas are considered.
- Manage incoming phone calls from patients/caregivers/ Home and Community Care Support Services and staff regarding service requests/changes.
- Manage incoming new referrals and frequency changes etc. from contracted providers.
- Provide support to registered staff working in the community.
- Liaise with agency supervisors and staff to communicate patient information
- Automated Provider Reports / Resubmissions
- Tablet set-up
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Excellent customer service, organizational skills and time management skills
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office and the ability to learn AlayaCare software
- Proficient in Tablets
- Must have a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Must be able to work independently and as a team
- Must have excellent communication skills (both verbal and written) and a professional and pleasant attitude
- Must be reliable
- Maintain confidentiality
Working Conditions
- Interacts with clients, staff, visitors, government agencies/personnel
- Manual dexterity required to use desktop computer and peripherals.
- Sitting for extended periods of time
- Occasionally lift and/or move up to ten (10) pounds.
- Overtime as required
