Duties:
- Prepare and cook food items according to recipes and quality standards
- Follow proper food handling and safety procedures
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen area
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient food preparation
- Monitor food stock levels and place orders as needed
- Adhere to all sanitation regulations and maintain a safe working environment
Skills:
- Must be able to lift heavy food items (up to 50 lbs.)
- Must have previous experience in the food service industry or as a cook
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen equipment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately
- Excellent time management skills to ensure timely food preparation
- Understanding of food safety regulations and best practices
