Qualifications:
- Food safe certificate an asset
- 1 year kitchen experience an asset
- Strong verbal and interpersonal skills
- Able to multi-task and solve problems
- Maintain a positive attitude and attendance record
- Accuracy and speed with assigned tasks
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to carry out physical duties of the position
Duties:
- Ensure kitchen activities operate in a timely manner
- Provide support to junior kitchen employees with various tasks
- Maintain and oversee proper storage of all food items
- Ensure all equipment is properly cleaned and in good working order
- Complete check lists during your shift
- Have good communicate with FOH staff
- Adhere to safety and sanitation guidelines
- Provide feedback to the Executive Chef
