```Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our team in the food industry. As a Line Cook/Prep Cook, you will be responsible for assisting in food preparation and ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen. Responsibilities:
- Assist in food preparation, including chopping vegetables, preparing sauces, and marinating meats
- Follow recipes and portion sizes to ensure consistent quality
- Cook menu items according to established standards and customer preferences
- Ensure food is cooked and served at the correct temperature
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient meal service
- Assist with inventory management and stock rotation
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Line Cook/Prep Cook or similar role in a restaurant or food service setting
- Knowledge of proper food handling techniques and food safety regulations
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
