Line Cook/Prep

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our team in the fast-paced and dynamic food industry. As a Line Cook/Prep Cook, you will be responsible for assisting in food preparation and ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen. Duties:
- Prepare ingredients for cooking, such as chopping vegetables, cutting meat, and measuring ingredients
- Assist in cooking and assembling dishes according to recipes and portion sizes
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area
- Follow food safety guidelines and ensure proper handling and storage of ingredients
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation of meals
- Monitor food quality and presentation to meet our high standards
- Assist with inventory management and stock rotation

Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role within the food service industry is preferred
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects when necessary

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Salary: $16.50-$19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
