Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Marketing Coordinator to join our team. In this position, you'll play a vital role in promoting our vision and mission of positioning our province as a premier tourism destination.
Reporting to the Director of Marketing, you'll support and assist in executing marketing activities, coordinating projects, and contributing to the development of high-quality, brand-focused content and marketing initiatives. Responsibilities:
● Coordinates and assists in the execution of marketing initiatives, projects, and campaigns ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project timelines.
● Assists in managing project timelines, milestones, and deliverables to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
● Supports digital marketing efforts, including SEO/SEM, website, and app updates/management.
● Assist the content team in creating visual content, including video and photography assets, populating blogs and eNewsletters.
● Provides social media support for Manitoba experiences, including live content creation and posting.
● Assists in managing social media accounts, responding to inquiries, and monitoring engagement.
● Assists in management of GA4 optimization and reporting.
● Assists in conducting market research and analysis to identify trends, insights, and opportunities for innovation and improvement.
● Assists in dashboard creation and reporting, consolidating insights into meaningful summaries and reports.
● Supports and assists with partnership related activities and deliverables, including planning, execution, and reporting.
● Monitors social media channels for comments, messages, and mentions, and responds promptly and professionally, consulting with the Manager, Marketing, as necessary.
● Provides support and assistance to other team members as needed, ensuring smooth operation and continuity of work.
● Provides back-up support to the Assistant, Marketing.
● Performs other related duties as required/assigned.
Responsibilities:
● Post secondary education in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
● A combination of related education and experience will be considered.
● Minimum 2 years related experience, preferably in Marketing or Communications.
● Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
● Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
● Demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team, with a positive and professional attitude and willingness to learn.
● Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) or Google Suite and familiarity with communication/project management tools/programs/platforms.
● Bilingualism (English/French) is an asset.
● Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
● Valid Manitoba driver’s license.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: $50,471.00-$66,416.00 per year
