This position is a Co-op opportunity in our Planning and Production department from May - August 2024.
The Data Analyst Co-op Student will assist with various projects in an industrial manufacturing environment.
COMPENSATION
The position rate of pay is $21.00 - $24.00 per hour.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collaborate with Planning, Production and IT teams to design, develop, and manage databases within MS Office 365 environment.
- Knowledge of webforms (lists and SharePoint), databases, and reporting which would be used for shift reporting, maintenance logs, quality management, inventory control (WIP), and other general shop floor information.
- Organize and maintain data for reporting and dashboarding (Power BI).
- Workflows/Power apps for continuous feedback.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements.
- Participate in task/project reviews with stakeholders to ensure quality of deliverables.
- Research and implement new technologies to enhance communication capabilities.
- Participate in team meetings and provide regular updates on project progress.
- Currently enrolled in a Computer Science or related program.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365 environment and apps, including SharePoint, MS Access, MS Excel, Power Apps, and Power Automate.
- Knowledge of database management systems.
- Demonstrate problem solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Previous internship or project experience is a plus.
- Hands-on experience in a real-world manufacturing business environment.
