An established local dental office is looking to add an outgoing and friendly individual to our reception team
Responsibilities will include:
- Greeting and checking in patients
- Assisting patients with booking their next regular appointments and any treatment that may be needed
- Handling incoming and outgoing phone calls
- Collecting payments
- Submitting electronic claims and estimates to insurance providers
- Maintaining patient records
- Other dental administrative duties (filing, preparing charts for next day, specialist referrals, keeping reception area tidy, etc.)
Our ideal candidate:
- has an outgoing personality and is able to communicate with patients in an effective and supportive manner
- has at least 1 year experience working in a dental office (knowledge of Tracker is an asset)
- strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- has knowledge of dental terminology
- is organised with good attention to detail
- is punctual and dependable
- is able to work well with our team and independently.

Hours are: Monday 8-4pm, Tuesday 8-5pm, Wednesdays 8-5/10-7pm (alternating), Thursdays 8-4pm
Rate of pay is based on experience
