Dental Receptionist

An established local dental office is looking to add an outgoing and friendly individual to our reception team

Responsibilities will include:

• Greeting and checking in patients
• Assisting patients with booking their next regular appointments and any treatment that may be needed
• Handling incoming and outgoing phone calls
• Collecting payments
• Submitting electronic claims and estimates to insurance providers
• Maintaining patient records
• Other dental administrative duties (filing, preparing charts for next day, specialist referrals, keeping reception area tidy, etc.)

Our ideal candidate:

• has an outgoing personality and is able to communicate with patients in an effective and supportive manner
• has at least 1 year experience working in a dental office (knowledge of Tracker is an asset)
• strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• has knowledge of dental terminology
• is organised with good attention to detail
• is punctual and dependable
• is able to work well with our team and independently.

Hours are: Monday 8-4pm, Tuesday 8-5pm, Wednesdays 8-5/10-7pm (alternating), Thursdays 8-4pm

Rate of pay is based on experience
