Dental Receptionist Full-Time For Mat Leave

We are seeking a skilled Dental Receptionist to join our team for a 12-month maternity leave position. This position starts on May 1st, 2024.

The ideal candidate will have experience working in a dental office and possess excellent administrative and customer service skills. As a Dental Receptionist, you will be responsible for managing patient appointments, handling phone calls, and maintaining electronic medical records. ```Responsibilities```
- Greet and check-in patients upon arrival
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments using Dentrix or similar software
- Answer phone calls and address patient inquiries or concerns
- Maintain accurate electronic medical records and update patient information as necessary
- Verify insurance coverage and process insurance claims
- Collect payments from patients and provide them with receipts
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and scanning documents
- Collaborate with the dental team to ensure smooth office operations

```Qualifications```
- Previous experience working in a dental office (min. 1 year)
- Proficiency in using dental office software such as Tracker
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology and dental procedures
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Familiarity with dental electronic claim submission
- Knowledge of phone systems and ability to handle calls with professionalism
