Dental Receptionist

***Overview***
We are seeking a skilled and professional Dental Receptionist to join our team. As a Dental Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our patients, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a smooth flow of operations in the dental office. ***General Duties***
- Greet patients and visitors in a friendly and welcoming manner
- Answer phone calls and schedule appointments using our phone system
- Check-in patients, verify insurance information, and update patient records
- Collect payments and provide accurate billing information
- Assist with administrative tasks such as data entry, and maintaining patient charts
- Coordinate referrals to specialists as needed
- Maintain cleanliness and organization at the front desk area

***Experience Needed***
To be successful in this role, you should have the following qualifications:
- Previous experience working in a dental office setting
- Proficiency in using electronic dental software charting systems such as Dentrix
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and dental procedures
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Familiarity with front desk operations and administrative duties

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $20.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
