Position Overview:
PaintedRobot is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Marketing Manager to lead our internal and portfolio client Digital Marketing initiatives to growth and success. The ideal candidate has the following experience, skills and personality traits:

Digital Marketing Expertise:

  • In-depth knowledge of various Digital Marketing channels and strategies is essential. This includes experience and past success personally or managing a team in multi-channel marketing efforts that included: SEO Optimization and Content Creation, Search Ads, Youtube Ads, LinkedIn Ads, Facebook/IG Ads, Social Posting Strategy , Content Scheduling/Creation/Publishing, Analytics Data and Performance Reporting and Client Communication for Review, Planning and Ongoing Success.

Leadership Skills:

  • Strong leadership and management skills are crucial for guiding and motivating our team and to bring everyone together to contribute to the success of the strategy and vision for each client or brand. Effective communication, problem-solving, and the ability to set clear goals and expectations are essential.

Creative and Strategic Thinking:

  • The ability to think creatively to develop effective marketing strategies and campaigns that make the most impressions on the target market and audiences and that work within the realm of client budgets and available resources.

Data Analysis:

  • Proficiency in data analysis and the ability to make data-driven decisions are essential. Familiarity with tools like Google Analytics, Marketing automation platforms, and CRM systems can be a big advantage.

Adaptability:

  • The Digital Marketing landscape is constantly evolving. Our team needs to stay up-to-date with industry trends, algorithm changes, and emerging technologies to ensure the agency remains competitive.

Marketing Technology (MarTech) Knowledge:

  • Familiarity with marketing technology tools and platforms can help streamline operations and improve campaign performance.

Results & Relationships-Oriented:

  • Being results-driven is a key personality trait and requirement for this role. We have to be focused on achieving measurable outcomes for our clients as their agency and we have to be mature enough to set realistic expectations based on variables like budgets and timelines. We are open and transparent with our clients about performance metrics so that we are fully accountable. Our goal as an agency and our strategy as a business is long-standing partnerships in continued success and a growing network of positive referrals. We are willing to sacrifice short term gains to stay true to this goal and principle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary point of contact between PaintedRobot and our active marketing clients.
  • Understand client objectives, needs, and expectations and manage them into success.
  • Run monthly client marketing meetings to report and review outcomes and to strategize and discuss next steps/opportunities.

Team Leadership and Management:

  • Help build and lead our team in relation to our marketing client projects and strategize how we expand our growth and success to our target audiences.
  • Set clear goals, expectations, and priorities for the team and marketing projects.
  • Provide vision, guidance, mentorship, and support to team members.
  • Oversee team performance, conduct performance evaluations, and make hiring decisions as necessary.

Campaign Strategy and Planning:

  • Develop marketing strategies and plans in collaboration with the client and internal team members.
  • Define campaign objectives, target audiences, messaging, and KPIs.
  • Allocate resources and budget effectively for campaign execution in a way that most effectively achieves our client goals.

Campaign Execution:

  • Ensure the successful and consistent implementation of marketing campaign branding/messaging/objective across various channels, such as digital advertising, content marketing, SEO, email marketing, and social media.
  • Monitor campaign performance and make real-time adjustments as needed to optimize results and best leverage team resources.

Optimization and Reporting:

  • Utilize our reports and tools to track, test and optimize campaign performance.
  • Prepare regular reports for clients that include key metrics, trends, and recommendations for improvement or new opportunity.

Budget and Process Management:

  • Manage the budget allocated for each client's marketing campaigns and communicate with the team a client regarding ad budget.
  • Communicate and manage clients when we believe that increasing ad spend will result in positive returns.
  • Track project expenses, ensure team hours are within client and projects budgets.
  • Make improvements to process and procedures where needed.
  • Marketing Stack (MarTech) Utilization and Improvement:
  • Learn our marketing stack to understand and best leverage all of our tools and know how our team uses them.
  • Stay informed about new MarTech trends and tools that can enhance campaign performance.

Quality Assurance:

  • Ensure the quality of marketing materials, content, and creative assets produced by the team.
  • Review and approve deliverables before client presentation or any publication/go live.
  • Ensure that marketing campaigns adhere to legal and ethical guidelines, including data privacy regulations and advertising standards.

Business Development:

  • Identify opportunities for upselling or expanding services with existing clients.
  • Assist in leading our own brands into continued growth/expansion and into new growth/opportunities.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $90,000.00-$105,000.00 per year
