Jardeg is recruiting Electrician Journeypersons for pre-turnaround scope in Upgrading at the CNRL Horizon site near Fort McMurray, Alberta. The Electrician Journeyperson Base Rate is $55.01/hr. This position isa temporary position starting April 16th working a 10/4 shift 10 hours per day and then moving into a 24/4 shift rotation working 12 hours per day during active turnaround. Overtime is paid at time and a half for anytime worked over 8 hours a day and/or over 40 hour a week. There is both day shift and night shift positions. There is a $3.00/hr premium for night shift. This is a camp position with flights out of Calgary or Edmonton flight hubs. There is travel allowance provided for out of province employees during the active turnaround.

As an Electrician Journeyperson responsibilities will include but are not limited to;

• Expert conduit skills.
• Expert with circuitry planning and installations.
• Expertly read and comprehend drawings and specifications.
• Expert control systems planning and installation.
• Proficient multi-meter, Meggar, Phase Rotation meter and AMP-Meter usage.
• Proficiency in ARC Flash awareness.

Minimum Requirements:

• Certified Electrician Journeyperson.
• CSTS 09
• Energy Safety Canada Certified Fall Protection.
• Energy Safety Canada Certified Confined Space Entry & Monitor.
• This role requires a satisfactory criminal record check due to access to nuclear substances
