ELECTRICAL JOURNEYMEN SERVICE TECHNICIANS
Experienced Electrical Journeymen Service Technicians with extensive fire alarm systems inspection experience: we are looking for you! If you love mixing excellent customer service with exceptional inspection/testing/repair skills, you will want to talk with us. Our opportunity will require being able to understand and manage many points of view, and be proficient in several different lingos: electrician-speak and customer-speak. It will also require an ability to communicate clearly with the different parties, and be able to prioritize and re-prioritize as situations evolve. Most of the work will involve life safety inspections and repairs, and developing a good rapport with our customers. All work will occur in occupied facilities, and requires a professional demeanour and work ethic. Some travel will required for this role. Much of the work involves government buildings so security clearances are required.

Requirements:
- Journeyman/Journeywoman Electrician
- Experience in life safety system inspections and testing in commercial and light industrial buildings (preferred 5+ years)
- CFAA certification (preferred)
- Clean Drivers Abstract and able to pass security clearance screening
- Strong communication and inter-personal skills
- Current with electrical standards and codes
- Comfortable with blue prints
- Able to effectively manage an inventory of parts/supplies to ensure maximum efficiency
- Good organizational skills
- Neat, clean, respectful, and comfortable with working in an occupied facility
- Able to work efficiently and independently in a deadline driven environment
- Good understanding of electrical processes and permitting procedures
- Ability to quickly troubleshoot, repair, and test life safety equipment/electrical systems
- Comfortable communicating directly with customers
- Open to new innovations, processes and procedures
