Jardeg is currently recruiting for a Electrician Journeyperson to join the Integrated Constructors Inc. maintenance team at the Cenovus Upgrader near Lloydminster, SK. This is a full-time temporary position on a 10 days on, 4 days off schedule with 10-hours workdays.
Cenovus is Canada’s third largest oil and natural gas producer and second largest refinery and upgrader. The upgrader is located in Lloydminster, Saskatchewan was commissioned in 1992 and processes heavy oil from the Lloyd thermal projects.
Electricians install, alter, repair and maintain electrical systems designed to provide heat, light, power, control, signal or fire alarms for all types of buildings, structures, and premises.
Responsibilities:
- Be able to take directions, and receptive to training and mentoring
- Identify and able to proficiently install almost all material components
- Conduit skills
- Circuitry planning and installations
- Read and comprehend drawings and specifications
- Control systems planning and installation
- Size, plan and install electrical services
- Multiple types of installations
- Adhering to safe work practices and procedures
- Hazardous location requirements
- Ensure exceptional workmanship from all direct reports
- Multi-meter, Meggar, Phase Rotation meter and AMP-Meter usage
- ARC Flash awareness
Requirements:
- Construction Safety Training Systems (2020) Certification
- First Aid
- H2s Alive
- Aerial Work Platform
- Fall Protection
- Driver's License with a clean 3 Year Driver's Abstract
