Position: Event Assistant

Start Date: February 26

Position Type- part time, hybrid in Langley

Compensation: $21-$25/hr

Role Description

You will report to our Event Producer and work closely with our Marketing Manager to get your tasks done.

This position requires you to be highly organized, self motivated, tech-savvy, and confident in all things social media. This job is a blend of computer work (design, planning, writing, admin, etc), and on site work (poster distribution, capturing and compiling videos, working each event, etc).

Softwares include, but are not limited to:

• Adobe
• Canva
• Microsoft Office 365
• Later
• Mailchimp
• Showpass (Event Ticketing platform)
• G Suite

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent, Internship / Co-op
Contract length: 12 months

Salary: $21.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed

Education:

• Secondary School (preferred)

Experience:

• event: 1 year (preferred)

Ability to Commute:

• Langley, BC V2Y 1N1 (required)

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Langley, BC V2Y 1N1
