SalaryWe are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Event Coordinator to join our team at Music Without Borders. The ideal candidate will be passionate about the arts and possess a strong background in planning and executing events. The Event Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of concert planning, from communicating with artists to on-site coordination.
Responsibilities:
- Source and secure suitable venues for events, overseeing all aspects of venue requirements.
- Review and ensure compliance with venue contracts.
- Manage itineraries, flights, hotel bookings, and transportation logistics, ensuring alignment with the event schedule.
- Collaborate with venue staff to coordinate logistics and event details.
- Contact artists, coordinate schedules, including rehearsals, and ensure they have all necessary information and support.
- Communicate the music director's technical requirements to the technical staff.
- Coordinate with the marketing manager to align event promotion strategies.
- Provide guidance and advice on advertising materials to ensure consistency and effectiveness.
- Communicate with community partners.
- Assist the sponsorship manager in securing and managing sponsorships.
- Conduct post-event debriefings and evaluations with the team.
Job Type: Part-time
Salary: From $16.55 per hour
