Event Design & Event Day Assistant

Perfectly Designed Events is a full service Wedding & Event Planning company based in London, Ontario.

We are looking for a detail oriented and hardworking individual to join our team as a Part-Time Event Design Specialist & Event Day Assistant. This is a Part-Time casual role, with the potential to grow into a permanent position.

Design Assistance is scheduled on an as needed basis and is determined based on our event planning workload. The Event Design Specialist is responsible for creating client floor plans, design proposals, basic stationery design, and creating design concepts. Design Assistance will take place at our studio in Byron, with the flexibility to complete some work at home. Event Day Assistants are required to travel throughout Southwestern Ontario to be on-site at each event.

This position is perfect for you if:

• You have strong visual design skills. Past experience in interior design, Event Design, graphic design, visual merchandizing is an asset.
• You have past experience in a creative environment or with design software programs
• You have an eye for design, detail and symmetry
• You enjoy organization and creating workflows and processes
• You are able to follow instructions & maintain procedures
• You are able to remain calm under pressure
• You have weekend availability during peak wedding season (May - October)
• You are willing to work weekends, including early mornings and occasionally late nights
• You have access to a reliable vehicle and are open to traveling for Event Days (we operate through all of Southwestern Ontario)
• You have access to a reliable and fast-working computer

No event planning experience is necessary, but some background in any form of design is required. We are willing to train the right candidates!
