Job Description: Remote Project Manager for Destination Management Company
We are seeking a dynamic Project Manager to join our Destination Management Company (DMC) team. The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years of experience in managing projects within the Canadian market, with a focus on operating programs tailored to meetings, incentives, and leisure and corporate travel. This is a remote position, offering the opportunity to work flexibly from any location. The position requires onsite location during events.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement customized programs for corporate meetings, incentives, and leisure travel in Canada, catering to the unique needs and preferences of our clients.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure the successful delivery of services, maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.
- Manage budgets, timelines, and resources effectively to meet project objectives and client expectations.
- Communicate regularly with clients to understand their requirements, provide updates on project progress, and address any concerns or issues.
- Stay informed about industry trends, market developments, and regulatory requirements relevant to destination management in Canada.
Requirements:
- degree in Hospitality Management, Tourism, Business Administration, or related field.
- 5-7 years of experience in project management within the travel and tourism industry, preferably with a focus on destination management.
- Proven track record of successfully operating programs for meetings, incentives, and leisure travel, with a strong understanding of the Canadian market.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage competing demands effectively.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
- Proficiency in project management tools and software applications.
- Flexibility to work remotely and adapt to changing priorities and requirements.

Salary: $65,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
