Lorandus Meetings and Communications is an Ontario-based boutique, third-party event management & incentive travel agency. We excel in supporting our clients with the execution of meaningful and creative meetings, as well as partnering with them to enhance their talent retention and employee recognition programs.
As a Project Manager, you will support our team in the management and execution of upcoming meetings and travel incentive programs. You need to maintain a collaborative and professional relationship with other team members, as well as our trusted vendor partners and our valued clients, throughout the event planning process.
Under the direction of the Senior Project Manager, your duties will include:
- Collaborating with other Lorandus Project Managers, planners, and sales staff to create budgets and program agendas/content for upcoming programs.
- Contributing to the organization and preparation of all the logistical and operational aspects of your assigned projects.
- Ensuring all your projects are completed within the constraints of the budget provided.
- Communicating with and managing program attendees, and assisting with the facilitation of additional requests and travel needs.
- Prioritizing duties to adhere to assigned timelines and critical deadlines, often managing multiple projects at the same time.
- Creating registration forms and associated websites.
- Participating in operational site inspections and providing onsite support during the execution of assigned projects.
- Attending industry-specific trade shows to meet with vendors.
- Meeting with clients and Lorandus team members as required.

More About You
To qualify for this role:
- Have a minimum of 3-5 years experience working as an Event Manager or booking corporate group travel.
- Be a Certified Meeting Professional certificate or similar post-secondary education and be TICO certified (or similar for other provinces).
- Have working knowledge of Microsoft 365 (particularly Excel) is essential, and familiarity with WordPress is an asset.
- Be an innovative consultant at heart; you are able to listen and create solutions for our clients with their immediate needs as your primary focus.
- You are independent as much as an impactful collaborator. Your integrity and honesty are important parts of your work.
To succeed in this role, you will be a multitasker with exceptional communication skills and the ability to prioritize projects with competing deadlines. More importantly, you are genuinely interested in providing the best customer service and take pride in every project you work on, no matter the size.
About the Benefits
