Roles and Responsibilities
- Plan and execute internal events (private and venue operated) and external brand-building events.
- Ensure that guests are exceptionally satisfied with events.
- Keep event plans on budget and on schedule.
- Drive new business to the brewery with compelling and creative events.
- Train and oversee all event team staff working events.
- Manage and plan for the intake of all private event bookings.
- Market and advertise the brewery and brand products by facilitating participation in key community events.
- Reach out to potential event sponsors and vendors. Communication and negotiate partnership opportunities.
- Partner with marketing to advertise events through multiple channels (social media, online, print).
Qualifications and Requirements
- Experience planning and executing events and creative experiences in a high-traffic environment.
- Strong organization and management skills, with a self-starter’s attitude.
- Ability to plan and execute projects with many moving parts.
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills.
- Experience in and passion for the hospitality and experience industry along with strong knowledge of food & beverage.
- Valid Smart Serve certification.
- Time management and ability to meet deadlines.
- Problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Demonstrated knowledge of POS systems and the ability to quickly learn new software as needed (Cowbell uses Touchbistro, 7Shifts and Chase).
- Comfortable using MS Office, Word, PowerPoint, Excel
