Duties & Responsibilities: As the Manager of Events, you'll collaborate closely with our President & CEO to shape and implement the event strategy. From developing plans and budgets to managing permit applications, generating sponsorships, and overseeing logistics – you'll be at the heart of it all. Your role covers a diverse range of events, both established and new, ensuring they align with our organizational goals.
Knowledge and Skills You'll Bring:
- 3 years of event management experience
- Post-secondary education in event management
- Local, national, and international tourism knowledge
- Sales and sponsorship experience
- Committee recruitment and leadership skills
- Excellent communication and computer skills
- Marketing and social media experience (an asset)

Reporting Relationships: You will report to the President & CEO of Niagara-on-the-Lake Chamber of Commerce and Tourism Niagara-on-the-Lake.
Working Conditions: Based in our office on Queen Street, Niagara-on-the-Lake, this role may require flexible hours, including evenings and weekends during events. Mileage for official travel will be reimbursed.
