Hospitality & Events Manager
Looking for a remarkable, customer-centric, high-energy, Hospitality & Events Manager to lead the front of house and Events operation at Southbrook Golf Course. Southbrook’s vision is to inspire a world of enjoyment, achievement, memories and togetherness, and this position is responsible for fulfilling this vision, by hiring and training the service Team, and serving our customers with excellence. This role will work hand in hand with our Head Chef and the Director of Golf. Experience with restaurants, hospitality, human resources, and operations is required.
There is long-term opportunity for growth and development within this hospitality-centric company. This position would be highly involved in the expansion and renovation plan that will happen at Southbrook over the next three years. Duties will include but may not be limited to:
· Hire, train, lead the front of house teams.
· Create, implement, report, and analyze the Food and Beverage Operations plan including budget and all other related financial duties.
· Coordinate specific objectives of the plan with all functional departments of the company, most specifically with the Golf Department.
· Establish and enforce food and beverage policies, standards, and regulations.
· Oversee all food and beverage activities including tournaments, banquets, weddings, day to day events.
· Ensure consistent high standards of customer service across all food and beverage operations, including the training and performance management of Team Members.
· Train department employees and provide them with ongoing feedback through effective management tools, such as positive reinforcement and leading by example
· Work with the Chef to update the menu as much as needed to stay current with customer needs.
· Conduct regular team meetings to ensure two-way communication is maintained.
· Work with the Chef to oversee all administrative duties within the Food & Beverage department, including inventory management, POS updates and reports, ordering, and other day-to-day admin as required by the business.
· Other duties as assigned by the CEO.
· Must comply with all standard operating procedures and policies of Southbrook Golf Course

Requirements:
· Post-secondary degree in hospitality would be ideal.
· 2 to 5 years' experience in restaurant, event management and hospitality.
· This is a full-time position, working full-time, mostly evenings and weekends, 6 to 8 weeks off in the winter months.
· Proficiency in MS Office

Salary: $50,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
