Kemptville District Hospital is looking for an Executive Assistant for an estimated 18-month Temporary Full-Time contract as a result of a leave of absence. As the Executive Assistant reporting directly to both the Chief Financial Officer/VP of Operations (CFO) and the Vice President of Nursing/Clinical Services/CNE, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the administrative needs of two key executives in a dynamic hospital environment. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the efficient operation of the hospital by providing high-level administrative assistance to executives who oversee financial management and clinical services.

The successful candidate will share our commitment to Patient and Family Centred Care and possess the following qualifications and experience:
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or an Executive Assistant diploma from an accredited institution (or equivalent experience);
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, and SharePoint;
- Proven experience as an Executive Assistant or similar role, preferably supporting C-level executives in a healthcare setting.
- Understanding of healthcare terminology, regulation, and compliance requirements is an asset;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with diverse stakeholders;
- Ability to prioritize tasks effectively;
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion;
- Strong problem solving skills;
- Excellent organization and time management skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently;
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment;
- Ability to maintain composure and adaptability in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
Starting Wage: $31.54/hour (or commensurate on the candidate’s experience)
