Food and Beverage Specialist
As the Food and Beverage specialist at the Eau Claire Distillery you will be responsible for service excellence in the Food and Beverage business. Attention to detail and passion for the customer experience are a requirement to succeed in this position. As Team lead you will serve in Rupert’s and be responsible for help in running the day to day operations. What you will be doing:
- Keep calm communication with your bartenders and servers under high pressure
- Responsible for training all new staff and ensuring brand standards are consistently met
- Delivering on all standards, policies and procedure to create memorable luxury guest experience
- Help manage pars and work with the Rupert’s Operations Manager to order items when needed
- Open and honest communication to your colleagues and manager at all times
- Ensure a clean and safe working environment, and actively participate in health and safety initiatives
- Making sure the staff are following all the procedures that are put in place
- Consistently making cuts when needed to ensure Rupert’s is always staffed appropriately, while on shift
- Consistent work week of Wednesday – Sunday with very little variances
Your experience and skills include:
- Minimum 2 years of previous serving/ bar or managing experience in Food and Beverage
- Demonstrated management and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Self motivated, with the ability to independently make effective decisions in a timely manner
- Demonstrates initiative, and the ability to multitask and work with minimal supervision
- Ability to maintain high service levels under pressure
- Physically fit to lift trays repeatedly, stand and walk for the duration of the shift.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $17.00-$20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
