Full Time Dental Receptionist

We are seeking a friendly and outgoing individual to join our high energy team. The candidate must be a detail oriented individual with excellent communication and customer relation skills that enable them to provide exceptional service and build patient relationships. The candidate must have knowledge of ODA fee guide and codes, work well within a team environment, able to self-organize, time manage and multi-task. Knowledge of Paradigm is an asset. A **minimum of 3-5 years experience as a Dental Receptionist is required**. Applicants who do not have the expected requirements will not be considered at this time. This is a Full Time position that will require alternating Saturdays and the occasional evening. Salary is negotiable based on experience.

Specific Duties:

· Perform day-to-day operations of dental office

· Open and close dental office according to office protocol

· Greet and welcome patients and visitors

· Check in patients according to office protocol

· Explain office appointment and financial policy to all existing and new patients when necessary

· Check the daily schedule for accuracy and provide schedule to all providers

· Schedule patients efficiently and as needed

· Answer and respond to telephone calls with professionalism

· Management of patient information and communication (ie patient personal information, insurance information, appointment or provider preferences)

· Manage recare patient system, cancellation and no-show lists

· Confirm patient appointments according to protocol and patient preferences

· Daily filing and pulling of charts

· Patient billing

· Submit insurance claims and predeterminations through EDI &/or mail

· Ensure the reception area and common staff areas are kept neat with a professional appearance

· Participate in staff meetings

· Perform other tasks assigned by office manager or Doctor

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $25.00-$28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 34 – 36 per week
