Golf Services- Pro Shop/ Concession

GOLF SERVICES [PRO SHOP | CONCESSIONS]

This position is responsible for providing an exceptional and professional guest experience through various forms of contact with all customers, as well as merchandising, pro shop retail sales, guest relations, food & beverage concessions and all other applicable golf service duties.
Responsibilities

• Opening and Closing of the Clubhouse
• Selling products, managing daily sales activities including reconciliations through the Point-of-Sale system
• Continuous restocking of Pro Shop and Food & Beverage concession products and supplies
• Monitoring and coordinating of outdoor Golf Services Team
• Ensuring the policies of the facility are executed on a daily basis
• Coordinate the starters and marshals to ensure a smooth guest experience
• Booking, managing and administering the tee-time reservation process
• Providing program and policy details to guests
• Maintain a clean and professional workspace/retail area, concession area and washroom facilities
• Follow health and safety policies and procedures
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Operations Manager

Requirements

• Excellent interpersonal and Communications Skills
• Ability to perform critical job tasks under pressure
• Ability and willingness to present a professional appearance and demeanor at all times
• Familiarity with basic computer functions
• Flexible availability (both AM and PM)
• Basic golf knowledge
• AGLC Pro Serve Certification

Qualifications:

• 1 – 3 years with a major golf, service or hospitality operation would be an asset
• Computer proficiency in particular MS Office and POS software programs an asset
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Must be a committed, career minded, detail orientated team player
• Physical Strength – ability to stand/walk/bend/push/pull for extended periods of time, lift up to 50 lbs

Salary: $20.00-$23.00 per hour
