The Line Cook is responsible for the preparation of high quality food in a timely, efficient, sanitary and consistent manner. Must be prepared to work in a fast paced, high pressure work environment, while maintaining the organizational ability to identify and act on job duties quickly and effectively. Reliable transportation is required as we are located just outside of Edmonton city limits.
Responsibilities include but not limited too:
*Set up station according to restaurant guidelines
*Prepare all food items as directed in a sanitary and timely manner
*Follow recipes, portion controls and presentation specifications
*Restock all items as needed throughout shift while labelling and dating all items
*Clean and maintain station, practicing good safety, sanitization and organization
*Ensure quality and safety of food by ensuring standards are maintained and following proper food handling procedures.
Qualifications
*Some experience is preferred but willing to train the right candidate.
