Guest Services Agent

We are a seasonal property with positions starting May 9, 2024 until October 2024.

We are seeking a friendly and professional Guest Services Agent to join our team at our hotel in the Canadian Rockies. This position is responsible for supporting the front desk and housekeeping team while providing exceptional service for our guests. At our hotel, we strive to provide everyone with the best experience possible, and the Guest Services Agent plays a key role in ensuring that our guests have a memorable stay.

Key Responsibilities:

• Multitask your shift between housekeeping and front desk duties
• Assist front desk with walking guests to rooms
• Bring any guest issues or maintenance issues to the front desk supervisors’ attention.
• Support front desk by bringing requested items to room, such as: firewood, microwave, rollaway bed, towels, etc.
• Operate washing and drying machines to clean all laundry
• Fold and store all laundered items neatly and accurately
• Maintain cleanliness of laundry room and equipment
• Follow all safety procedures and guidelines
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Additional responsibilities include cleaning duties in the restaurant, gift shop and public washrooms.
• This is an evening position with little supervision, being able to work independently is a must.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience in a customer service role is an asset
• Previous laundry or housekeeping experience is an asset, but not required as we will train the right candidates
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work rain or shine and walk for long periods of time as well as lift up to 50lbs.

Compensation:

• Wage: $17 plus bonuses.
• Staff accommodation is available for employees over the age of 18 at $4.41 per day.
• Bonus: If contract is completed you will receive $1 bonus for every hour worked and your rent returned.
• Referral Bonus: $500 if both yours and your referrals contract are completed.
