Hotel Night Auditor
Job Summary: We are seeking a reliable and responsible individual to join our team as a Hotel Night Auditor. The Night Auditor will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of financial transactions and overseeing the hotel's daily operations during the night shift. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Verify and balance daily transactions, such as room charges and cash receipts
- Audit guest accounts to ensure that charges and credits are accurately posted
- Prepare and distribute daily reports to management and other departments
- Handle guest inquiries and complaints in a timely and professional manner
- Follow hotel policies and procedures for cash handling and guest privacy
- Perform all front desk duties, such as checking guests in and out, answering phones, and assisting guests with any needs
- Monitor and address any safety and security issues during the night shift
- Follow up on any unresolved guest issues from previous shifts
- Provide assistance to other departments, as needed
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
- Check-in / Check-out guests
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework in hospitality management or accounting preferred
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a Hotel Night audit or front desk role
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and hotel management systems (such as Opera or Fidelio)
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Ability to work overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Attention to detail and accuracy in financial transactions
- Knowledge of safety and security procedures

- Starting wage at $17 to $18 per hour (may vary depending on experience)
