The Human Resources Coordinator, Ability and Wellness, provides coordination for the Attendance Support Programs including assisting with Disability Case Management (Occupational and Non-Occupational), Attendance Assistance and Employee Wellness across all employee groups in a multi-unionized environment.
Qualifications:
•Post-Secondary Education in Human Resources, Business Administration or Disability Management. Consideration will be given to the equivalent combination of education and experience.
•A minimum of two years’ previous experience in disability management and/or Human Resources.
•Experience working in the public sector is considered an asset.
•Broad working knowledge of administrative practices and procedures in relation to Disability Management and Human Resources policies, programs and processes.
Understanding of relevant employment, labour and privacy legislation.
•Strong technology skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
•Experience using Parklane and Apply to Education would be considered an asset.
•Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills to enable effective communication with employees, management, unions and third parties.
•Self-motivated, self-directed, with strong initiative and ability to work effectively both as a member of a team and independently.
•Superior organizational, time management, problem solving, attention to detail, analytic and record keeping skills.
•Strong customer service skills.
•Ability to manage and safeguard confidential information.
