Your Mission:
AfterShip is seeking a Human Resource Coordinator to join our People team and support our growing organization across North America and Europe. In this role, you will play an important role in driving organizational success while contributing to the development of an inclusive and winning culture.
We aim to foster a collaborative, transparent, and accountable work environment. As Human Resources Coordinator, you will report directly to the Head of People and have the opportunity to make a significant impact on our organization's success. Please note that while most of the work can be done remotely, we expect you to join us at our Toronto office once a week.


What You'll Do:

  • Partner closely with the North American People Team to execute HR operational processes and administrative tasks..
  • Act as the go-to person for employees, providing guidance on general policies, and offering appropriate resources and feedback.
  • Create research reports on a variety of topics that could range from market research, local laws, benefits, and other project-related tasks.
  • Ensure accurate maintenance of employee rosters and data collection information.
  • Support the People team with presentations and documentation prep.
  • Exhibit professionalism by handling sensitive information confidentially.

Who We're Looking For:

  • Minimum of 2 years of professional experience as a Human Resources Coordinator or similar administrative role in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • You have experience working in a global workforce environment or a scaling organization that has experienced rapid growth.
  • You are diligent, well organized and pay attention to the details.
  • You are a solutions-oriented individual who loves to leverage research and data to support their cases.
  • You demonstrate the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and a high degree of discretion.
  • Technologically proficient with an HRIS platform, BambooHR preferred, and the ability to learn new platforms.
  • Knowledge of benefits administration, HR general policies, and best workforce practices.
