Human Resources Recruitment Coordinator
The Human Resources Recruitment Coordinator is responsible for the full life cycle recruiting to ensure staffing levels are met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manages day to day activities of recruitment to ensure staffing levels are met;
- Partners and coordinates with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and determines selection criteria;
- Utilizes a variety of sourcing strategies to maintain and nurture pipeline for positions to support talent attraction and retention;
- Utilizes industry trends, market intelligences and innovative recruiting techniques to attract and compete in a competitive market for talent;
- Uses networking opportunities such as local community groups or professional associations to identify referrals for qualified candidates;
- Creates and manages new hire requisitions, conducts candidate screening assessments, conducts on site interviews and employment referencing;
- Prepares and presents offers to qualified candidates and onboards new employees;
- Supports the workforce planning process by attending recruiting events and job fairs;
- Assist in the development of job descriptions and interview questions that reflect each position requirements
- Oversees the maintenance of up-to-date recruitment records and ensure compliance with data protection regulations;
Key Requirements:
- A relevant college diploma or university degree in Human Resources is preferred;
- Incumbent should be working towards completion of the Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP)
- Strong knowledge of HR practices, employment laws, and regulations;
- 2-3 years of related experience in recruitment, employee relations and recruitment;
- Must be passionate about working with people and be customer-centric;
- Embodies flexibility, open-mindedness and has a great work ethic, sense of urgency
- Actively works out solutions
- Effective communication skills are required: including the ability to make effective presentations, letters, maintain accurate and complete files
- Exhibit the ability to multi-task and operate under severe time constraints and deadlines. Good organization, detail and follow-up skills are required:
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong interpersonal skills
