Infant Development Consultant (1 Year Term)
This role will assist families/caregivers to support the development of their children (birth to 3 years old) by implementing play based strategies in their homes.
YOUR IMPACT:
- Ability and experience working with children ages 0-3 with developmental disabilities and families in their home.
- Able to build effective working relationships with other professionals, family members, and organizations to ensure services are in the families and child's best interest and are supportive of their goals.
- Knowledge and experience working in a family centered service delivery model.
- Experience in administering standardized assessments and developing service plans and;
- Promotes a sense of belonging and inclusion for families /caregivers that have children that require extra support.
YOUR CAPABILITIES:
- Relevant university degree or college diploma in child development or related field and at least 3 years’ experience supporting families and children with developmental disabilities in a similar environment.
- Current CPR and First Aid Certification.
- Clear, current Criminal Records Check.
- Valid BC Driver’s License and access to a vehicle.
- Demonstrated commitment to diversity and inclusion.
- Effective interpersonal skills with the ability to interact at all levels of an organization.
- Reliable problem solving, critical thinking and communication skills.

Salary: $68,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
