We are currently seeking an enthusiastic, dedicated full time Medical Office Administrator Lead. This is an assistant Manager role. The successful candidate will act as the first point of contact for all patients, practitioners, visitors entering the clinic, this person will provide a friendly and invitational atmosphere at the reception desk and ensure that each visitor is attended to in a pleasant and efficient manner upon entry. This position will also: establish and maintain electronic medical records; ensure accurate demographic information; answer multi-line telephone, screen, and provide information/assistance or route caller to appropriate personnel, take messages and deliver to the appropriate personnel, check voicemail and respond to messages and emails in a timely fashion; schedule, confirm, cancel and reschedule appointments; greet all visitors with excellent customer service; provide assistance to practitioners to meet operational requirements. We are looking for an individual that has: - Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage and maintain a good work flow with in the office. - Strong ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude to colleagues and patients. - Excellent judgment, time management and organizational abilities - Ability to work independently and collaboratively - Ability to communicate professionally - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to maintain and protect confidentiality, professional ethics and patient relations.
Education/Experience:
Completion of Medical Office Assistant Education: Mandatory
Work Experience in a Medical office environment: Mandatory
Computer Experience/ EMR Experience: Mandatory (Preferably Accuro)
