Bleams Medical Centre is a family practice in the Kitchener-Waterloo area. Our team is seeking a temporary part-time Medical Office Administrator to cover a 6-week vacation period.

This person will have the following job responsibilities:
- Answering phone calls to the office from patients
- Booking appointments
- Posting labs/medical reports into charts
- Communicating with other health care providers
- Updating and managing up-to-date information in patient charts
- Prep rooms for patients
- EMR Database Management
We use Telus PS Suite for the majority of our patient documentation and so familiarity with this software is an asset as well as prior experience working in healthcare/reception roles.
The ideal candidate would have great communication skills and would be comfortable in taking phone calls and interacting with patients and other healthcare providers. The candidate would also be a team player and proficient in basic computer skills.

1) At least one year of experience in a Medical Office or medical clinic setting
2) Strong knowledge of Telus PS Suite
3) Strong ability to work in a fast-paced environment with excellent communication skills
