Marketing Intern

Marketing Intern Co-Op at Masco Canada (Hybrid with base of Mississauga or St Thomas ON office)

Reporting to the Sr Manager of Marketing, you will join an agile team working with multiple brands and product categories. As a Marketing Intern, you will work closely with internal and external partners to support the execution of brand building and channel activation programs.

We are looking for a team player with strong analytical and project management abilities, excellent communication skills, with lots of initiative and motivation, and comfortable working in a fast-paced and agile environment.

What You Will Bring!

• Registered in a business or marketing co-op program at an Ontario accredited University preferably in the final year/s.
• Creativity and Problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated Organization, project, and time management skills, with attention to detail.
• Strong Analytical skills.
• High degree of initiative and motivation and willingness to work proactively, either independently or within a team.
• Ability to work on multiple projects at the same time.
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal. French not required but an asset.
• Advance knowledge of MS Word, MS Excel, & MS PowerPoint.
• Computer savvy, able to quickly learn to use Masco programs and software.

What You Will Do!

• New Product Launches:
  • Assist Marketing team members in the creation of new assets and collateral to support new product launches, including but not limited to pricing documents, brochures, visual assets, learning courses, and presentations.
  • Support in the communication of new product launches and related collateral.
  • Help with the approval processes for marketing collateral.
• Marketing collateral and other initiatives:
  • Assist with planning and execution for the creation of eCommerce related assets.
  • Update Selling decks for our sales teams.
  • Assist with content creation for various internal and external audiences.
  • Support the creation, sourcing, and distribution of literature pieces and collaterals.
  • Provide execution support for retail and trade shows and events.
  • Support marketing team with execution of various marketing projects, including customers and agencies requests as required.
  • Interact with vendors, agencies, and other internal and external stakeholders.
• Process Improvement:
  • Assist with the development and improvement of tools and processes to simplify and automate the ordering and tracking displays, and merchandising ordering.
  • Help develop and improve ROI tracking processes (displays and loyalty program) and identify automation opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain other process improvements for the Marketing team.
