AddressThe Material Coordinator is responsible for ensuring that each project in Saskatchewan has the proper materials through inventorying, ordering, and delivering for various sites across Saskatchewan.
Responsibilities:
- Manage inventory of materials for transmission projects
- Order and organize materials as needed
- Ensure all space and equipment is safe and tidy
- Coordinate the flow of materials between different teams and locations
- Maintain inventory records and produce reports as needed
- Frequent travel to pick up and deliver materials to different yard locations
- Other duties as required
Qualifications and Requirements
- Highschool Diploma
- Equipment operating experience is considered an asset
- Experience in the construction/utility industry is preferred
- Valid Driver’s License – Class 3 or 1 preferred
- Must be willing to travel and work in a variety of weather conditions
- Basic computer and Microsoft Office skills
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong sense of safety
- Able to lift up-to 50lbs
