Saskatoon Retina Consultants is seeking a Medical Office Assistant/ Ophthalmic Technician to join our clinic. Office hours are Monday to Friday. The position is 3-5 days a week starting in early to mid January. We are a fast paced Ophthalmology clinic specializing in Retinal Disease and Surgery.
Job description includes preliminary testing of patients (medical history, visual acuity, intraocular pressures, and instillation of eye drops) and diagnostic testing (Fundus photography, OCT, Visual fields, Biometry, Optomap and Keratometry). Assisting with preparations for intraocular injections and laser treatments. Ensuring smooth clinic flow by assisting physicians and various tasks as needed. General reception duties including answering phones, booking appointments.

Experience and formal training as an Ophthalmic Technician is preferred but we will train if interested. Experience with Accuro EMR is a strong asset.
