The Connect Clinic is a pediatric medical clinic dedicated to helping kids and teens with learning, behaviour and mental health challenges.
We are looking for an experienced medical receptionist to be the face and voice of our clinic!
Skills Required
- Outstanding English language skills - written and spoken
- Office reception/administrative skills
- EMR systems (particularly MedAccess) a definite asset
- Superb attention to detail
- Strong computer/technical skills
- Very strong typing skills
Responsibilities:
- Answer phone calls and schedule appointments (for one pediatrician and one pediatric nurse)
- Greet patients and families in a professional and friendly manner
- Maintain electronic medical records
- Type physician's letters
- Fax, file and coordinate incoming and outgoing mail (all done through EMR)
- Problem-solve EMR technical issues
- Manage office supplies
As a medical receptionist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our medical clinic. Your friendly demeanor, attention to detail and ability to handle various administrative tasks will contribute to providing exceptional patient care.
